According to a recent study by the American
Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), Botox procedures have
increased by 18 percent from 2014 to 2015, and nearly 6,500 percent since 1997,
making it the most popular non-surgical cosmetic procedure in the market.
Who are these new
clients contributing to this surge in procedures?
ASAPS’ research shows that in 2015 there were a
total of 535,939 Botox procedures for those aged 19-34 (a.k.a millennials). This age group makes up 15.9% of the total
non-surgical procedures from 2015.
