Windermere Dental and Medical Spa is roughly 2-3 weeks from opening, just waiting on marble for the countertops and the flooring to be installed. Every day is super busy for Med Spa Owner, Maegen Kennedy, PA-C. All of the cabinets have been put in, along with light fixtures, tinting of the windows and blinds, and final finishes at Windermere Dental and Medical Spa. Unfortunately, the flooring has been held up in Atlanta, so you'll have to check back next week to see it placed inside. Windermere Dental and Medical Spa now has the first coat of paint on the walls, wiring through Maegen's office, and grids for the ceiling...light fixtures and flooring will be put in in the next few weeks. New California Microneedling Regulation Against Estheticians

AmSpa Founder and Director, Alex Thiersch's viral CA Update video has lead to a serious discussion regarding recent confusion and concern about who can perform microneedling and dermaplaning in California medical spas. The American Med Spa Association (AmSpa) will welcome California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology representatives Kristy Underwood and Tami Guess to its upcoming Medical Spa Boot Camp in San Jose, CA, on September 19-20. Underwood and Guess are slated for a short presentation and Q&A session on Day 2 of the boot camp, providing information about California’s state laws and regulations affecting medical spa professionals, with a focus on microneedling and derma planing.
